Newspaper Notes

Tabloid- 1 or 2 Stories or just a picture.
News Magazine- A Monthly Magazine ; Has a glossy cover, and has color, No story but a photo of something
Broad Sheet- Ex: The Eagles Eye; 3-5 Stories on the front page

3. Flag/folio= name of newspaper; name of school; date; volume/issue #; website

4. Caption of the pictures ; caption heads

Every story should have a bi-line (title and name of writer; below the headline)

  • Bi-line
  • Jump- story jumps from front page to another page. (has to have a place to go, and tells you where it's coming from)

Front Pages of the World

1. It's giving me information about a town near my family that I didn't know a lot about.
2. I favorite is "Pray for us", because I think that would attract more people and the picture would also attract more people to help out.
3. There are four stories
4. They have at least four stories, The name of the newspaper, a main story that has a big photo.
5. The layout of the newspaper.
