Lytro Warm-Up & Fashion

1. What did you see happen when you clicked on the photo? You were able to move the photo.
2. How does this new camera work? Captures the light of the photo.
3. What do you think a photographer would have to know about to take this kind of photo (remember its a point-and-shoot, so its full manual mode, what do you need to know about) I think the photographer would have know how to use cameras and know the rules of photography.
4. Is it worth the money? Yes.

Fashion

1. List the changes that were made to the model's face in the computer. (Look carefully)
Her Eyebrows were more arched, they made her neck longer also.
2. Is it ethically acceptable to change a person's appearance like this in a photo? Why or why not?
No, because now she looks fake.
4. What types of changes are OK, and what aren't?
The effect of the picture, or making their skin better.
5. Explain what you think the differences are between fashion photography and photojournalism.
Photojournalism is taking pictures and there's a story behind it, and fashion is just taking pictures of fashion.
6. What relationship does each type of photography have to reality, and how does this affect the ethical practice of each?

Because photographers capture photo of reality and then when you take the picture and edit it to the extreme its not the same.

Self Portrait and Portraits Part II

Tips
1. Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.

2 - Use a tripod. Seriously. While it’s possible to get good photos while you’re hanging on to your camera at arms-length, it’s a lot easier if you’ve got the freedom to move around a bit.

3. Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.

Environmental Portraits
I like this photo because it's cold and there's snowflakes falling down upon her and she's looking out, she looks like she's enjoying the whether.
I choose this photo because the boy looks like he's filled with joy, and his background shows why. I like this photo because the I think that where the picture was taken was good.

Self Portrait
I like this photo because I think its a unique and different pose to do. and the way she caught the water before it all hit her.
The way the girl is posing and the effect she used on the picture is the reason why I like and choose this photo.

Casual Portrait
The picture just looks cool to me
I really like this photo. I think the photographer was just taking a casual photo of a crowd and the girl stood out to him.
